By Dr. Wendy Wang
I am particularly happy today, because Georgiana has made even more progress. When I entered the rehabilitation center, the therapist Lu and loratta (Georgiana's daughter), told me almost in unison, "Dr. Wang, Georgiana can walk today!" She had been lying in bed for the past two years; she could not walk at all. It goes without saying just how exhilarating this news is! I saw that she could stand straight and move her feet while holding both therapist Lu's and Loretta's hands. We will continue diligently to help Georgiana improve her walking ability. We are confident that her outcome will be a total success.
