Iwachan, a much more active man now - 10/06/2009

By Therapist Chiffon Xu

I have a patient whose name is Iwachan. He comes from Japan. He didn't want to do any exercise and his body weight increased by several pounds, because his mental state has been poor for the past three years. After a course of treatment, his mental state is already showing improvement. The most important thing is that he also likes sports now. He is the first one to do the exercises in the rehabilitation room every day. During the holidays, he did the exercises by himself. I'm happy to see that he is in this healthy state. I hope that he can maintain this healthy state when he goes back home.

During our chat, he told me he was very interested in Chinese martial arts, Bruce Lee is very well known in his country. He wanted to learn martial arts, just as I had to learn some, so I proposed that I could teach him, he was very happy. He studied very seriously, but he also used the Internet to find out some information on the history of martial arts. He claimed that he was "Kung Fu Panda". . Martial arts is my hobby, I am pleased to use it at work.

I believe that during his time in the hospital he gained a good impression. Best wishes for him and his family!
