Last Saturday, I went to visit a friend from London, who was treated in our center for systemic lupus erythematosus in April, 2007.
In April of this year, she safely gave birth to a baby girl. Her daughter is more than seven months old now, very healthy, loves jumping and laughing very much. Because this is the Chinese Year of the Ox (in Chinese zodiac), I gave her a cross-stitched embroidered Golden Ox with the blessing, as a present to her, they liked that very much. The Cross-stitched piece is my maiden work. I was happy that I could give such a special gift to them.
I went there with my husband and took my 14-month old daughter with us. My daughter liked the acquaintance of these foreign friends very much. She was very excited, and not shy. Watching the two beautiful little darlings, the four of us adults were happy and fully understood the children are our eternal pride.
Seeing this friend was sick, and at the same time was giving birth to such a healthy and lovely baby, made me very proud of her. I am very confident that our stem cell treatment will continue to help more people.
