Last Saturday I was on duty and I went to a patient's room to give him a massage. When I opened the door I found him sitting in his room and we greeted each other. I began my work and talked with him and we had a nice discussion.
He was born in Korea and immigrated to Canada, he used to be a businessman and he has been retired for many years. He said he was in the import-export business. I told him that I am a businessman too; I also have my own business and introduced my business to him. He said there are a lot of good opportunities for young people, so he envies us very much and said he has no choice so he has to retire and stay in the hospital. I said to him that you can enjoy your life now and you have more time to spend with your family, however, he said he preferred the busy life.
After 20 minutes I finished my work and then I thought I could help him. I talked to him about equilibrium, told him how to balance his life between work and his personal life so that he can be more relaxed and fulfilled.
My best wishes go out to him.
