October 1st is the day on which the People's Republic of China was established. People of all nationalities gathered to celebrate the 60th birthday of the motherland. Not only the Chinese people celebrate the National Day, a lot of foreign friends come to China to celebrate this festival in our country, as well.
They visit the Great Wall, experience the magic of Chinese history and the uniqueness of China's economic rise.
Many foreigners prefer China's ancient history to modern China, such as the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, Hutongs (alleys), even the vermilion gates of the traditional Chinese courtyard. One of my patients who is from the Philippines could not go out to sightsee due to his illness during the National Holiday, so before returning home he went to visit the Palace Museum and Wangfujing Street. He bought a Chinese symbolic cheongsam for his family, and bought one hat with a red star.
Chinese culture is broad and profound; when foreigners come here they are deeply impressed. Because of this, our people feel proud.
